Servicing Intervals

Post by cj_eds » Thu Jul 07, 2011 11:35 am

I know the Z4 has variable service intervals, but out of interest when has yours requested (and/or when have you had) the Inspection I & II done? My onboard computer wants to wait until 33k (and 4 years old) until it's first Inspection I. (although it has had oil services done in that time!!!) Just seems like an awfully long time to me.

and why does it not tell you an oil service is due because the 2 year period is approaching

BMS could make a fortune just by sending out 2 year reminders to people, there must be quite a lot of people that only do a few thousand miles and miss there 2 year oil change date

Checked again, and its definitely 5k countdown to inspection. For now it's obviously happy with it's oil although I'll be changing soon because I know it's now a year to 18 months since last done.
