Interior boot cover de-laminating!

Post by Breaker » Mon May 17, 2010 12:21 pm

The other week I was lowering the internal boot cover for the roof and when I pressed the handle down to lock it into place I noticed it felt a bit mushy. Checked the handle and noticed on the right side of the handle the actual cover was coming apart! Sort of de-laminating.

Took the car into the dealers last Friday to get new tyres fitted and asked them to check it out for me.

They said that wasn't right and have ordered me a new one on warranty. Having it fitted this Friday.

May be an idea to keep an eye on yours!

New cover fitted. All sorted. I'm sure the old one didn't have magnets to hold it when it's in the up position! This one has.
