I would say bring it back to me but it’s a long way and I would need to buy the kit which seems around £150!!

Let’s not rule that out. You know the car better than anyone! Maybe I buy the kit and you do the work, keeping the kit for future fettling? Something to consider, particularly if we could do it in a day and I make a round trip? Let’s chat off line when you are back from your hols if that is ok?

j3nks79, have you done this job and do you have the tools?
And crucially, could you help Mark?
Better to have someone who has done it before.

I might have the cam locking kit for the N52. I’d have to check the garage.
Unfortunately I’m starting radiotherapy for liver cancer next week and I’m going to be out of action for a while.
But if I find the kit you are welcome to borrow it.
It’s probably a good 5 hours of work. Add a couple more of you haven’t done it before.
I could probably email you the guide to doing the job from autodata as well. So you have a step by step

Sorry to hear this, I hope all goes well for you.
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Has anyone used LK Performance in Leeds for replacement wheels? If so, are they recommended?

So… the budget appears to have been ignored by my fellow Spa visitors. So…. I decided to take the plunge and get the CSL wheels. Can’t wait to fit them over the weekend!
