Z4 2004 Airbag Module Wanted!!

Post by Zoomer04 » Wed May 08, 2024 7:28 pm

Car failed MOT recently for airbag warning light. I had it tested by a specialist mechanic who found it to be the passenger side (left) airbag module. He told me this is the part number that BMW gave him to find a replacement... 65776974366

it's a Z4 2.2 2004 roadster.

I have had a quick look on ebay and various websites but a little unsure about purchasing in case its wrong, as apart from part number and car details I don't really know what I am looking for. Anyone got an advice on exactly what item I need? or know of anyone selling any for parts?

I'm based in Plymouth Devon.

Thanks

Why are you all so far away???
I have a 4366 here and could fit and code it for you.
But I’m in Norfolk :headbang:

This is the one I have. See the list for all the other part numbers that would be exchangeable too.
Does your garage know how to code the VIN and the system time?
I've sent them to people before only for the garage to claim they must be duff as they couldn't code them. The people then come to me and we do it all in less than an hour.

Print out these instructions and show them to your mechanic to be sure he will be able to do it.

Thanks so much for your help. It's a private mechanic that specialises in the electrics as my garage didn't know how to look into it/repair it. So he should know what he's doing but the link will help.

Unable to reply to your PM but that would be great. Happy to pay that, how quickly could you post it?
