I remove those as well, not paid to advertise
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Yeah, I've never got why you'd want to advertise some crappy local garage for 4 years when you could simply whip the sticker out and maximize your rear view. Similarly I have no interest in having "Arnold Clark" written in big letters along the bottom of my number plate... the one consolation when you buy a car with knackered looking plates is it's easy to justify buying new ones with no massive advertizing on them.

A "Greta Hates This" sticker on a knackered old diesel that just needs a bunch of work doing or even scrapping annoys me.

I'm considering getting some made up that say "Sorted at Norfolk Zed Rescue" then paying people to drive them around Wigan all day.

Can't be bothered to drive all that way. I appear to have upset the 'Zed God' even down here.

Hailing a cab and finding this sticker on the side would be a bummer.

I remember when I bought a brand new Ford Orion Ghia (B reg) and told the salesman I didn't want their dealer plastic badge on the boot (Curry Motors?). When I went to collect it, there was one. The look on the salesman's face when I insisted he remove it was priceless as he was afraid it would take the paint with it - it didn't.

Yes I’ve noticed they put there names on the paintwork, in the window is annoying but on paint

Oh, I thought it would be "Also available as a proper roadster".

It would have to be "Also available as a cheaper, more common pram top".

Yup, I agree. No point wasting more money and not being able to open the roof.
