I'm looking to fit a set of BMW 704m alloys and tyres from a 3 & 4 series. I believe they will fit, but the tyres will be up 5mm in profile.
Has anyone gone up 5mm tyre profile for 19" alloys. I think it could be a good thing to fill the arches and a bigger profile to protect the alloy.
The tyre sizes would become:
Fronts 225 40 19
Rears 255 35 19

They will fit but will probably need 5mm spacers front and rear with longer bolts..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
