E85 3.0Si MSport 56 reg 93k £5,500
Black, manual, MOT until March 25, just ticked over 93k, still in daily use so mileage will rise slightly. Only selling as I need something more practical.
Four owners excluding original selling main dealer, heated electric leather seats, aluminium trim. No cruise or cup holders.
No mods other than 18 inch 225 dare CH alloys with Nankang NS-20 non run flats all round. Alloys and tyres purchased new in Aug 23, approx 3000 miles running since.
Condition outside and inside is commensurate of age, minor age related marks on the body but no dents or rust, no cracks on the plastics, front bumper is tidy but may benefit from a re-spray in the future, usual clouding issue with the front lights, interior is tidy, no rips or tears, drivers side bolster has the usual wear.
Two keys, roof works off the key, roof has a couple of marks from rubbing against the bulkhead, roof motor still in original location, drains cleaned regularly, roof cleaned, dyed and waterproofed a couple of times in my ownership.
Lots of paperwork from day one, unfortunately service book went missing somewhere prior to my ownership. Outside of regular servicing, work under my ownership includes electric fuel pump, thermostat, ignition barrel, replacement engine guard, lower arms and some other things I’ve most likely forgotten.
Car perfectly useable but a couple of minor things to highlight. MOT advisory for a couple of years now for front fog lights, intention was to sort when I eventually got round to re-spraying the front bumper. Front alignment slightly out due to new lower arms, tyre depot couldn’t shift the track rod ends so new track rod ends may be needed to sort. Rear alignment is fine.
Price includes an almost new and still boxed set of ST coilovers (KW internals) to give the new owner some headroom to sort the above.
Car is based in the Midlands, DE13 postcode. Thanks for looking, please note car will be advertised elsewhere also.

Thought this would fly off the shelf at this price so scratching my head a bit tbh, not many for sale, advertised it in a quite a few places and went pretty keen on the price.
Had feedback from people who know the car saying its too cheap, any thoughts from the panel?

I agree with the consensus it’s very competitively priced or even too cheap. The sale of fun/weekend cars are in the doldrums right now. I know these can be used easily for daily driving duties but a lot are used as second/third car options and the desire to spend money on anything frivolous is just not there compared to 18 months ago. I need to sell my car this year too but I’m holding off hoping things will pick up a bit when/if summer arrives and the sun comes out for more than 5 minutes. GLWTS OP. You just need that one keen buyer.

Thanks for the reply, i know I’ve pitched it low but I have had my fun with it and am happy to pass it on for that price. Despite the usual low ball offers I did get a keen viewer at the weekend, a cracking lad that loved the car but was that tall we came back from the test drive with bugs tattooed on his foreheadgolfgeezer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 3:42 pm I agree with the consensus it’s very competitively priced or even too cheap. Its doubly frustrating as I forgot the bit about being practical for my next car and put a deposit down on an e89 28i so want to get out enjoying that asap

To be brutally honest, you have pitched it low for last year's market, but this year nothing is moving at all.
It is a keen price for a dedicated enthusiast who knows what they're looking at, but for someone who just fancies a zed for the first time it is hard in the current climate to justify it.
My hobby started off by buying up zeds needing work, fettling them and selling on for quite a small profit, if any. However, lately it has been difficult to find cars that won't lose me money. It seems if I find one low enough to be worth it then it is going to make me more in parts.
I hope you are in a position to sit on it and wait as I'm not sure things will improve any time soon.
But then it only needs one person to make a good sale for you.
Fingers crossed.

Given how rare manual 3.0Sis are I'm amazed this hasn't sold yet, but good luck with it.twomorelaps wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2024 5:11 pm Thanks for the reply, i know I’ve pitched it low but I have had my fun with it and am happy to pass it on for that price. Prices seem to have plummeted lately, almost back to pre-Covid levels. In February 2020 I had to let my Montego Blue Coupe on 91K miles go for less than £6.5K.
Coupes because stunning!
