I didnโ€™t realise you have a Caterham, is it a recent acquisition? Iโ€™ve had a Westfield track car for 20 years now and thereโ€™s no comparison for driving experience :driving:
Nice one! 8)

Yes and I've only had it since last September so I'm still getting to know it. I'm really looking forward to the better weather now for sure. :)
You will love it, when you get an open road....Its such a raw experience, my Westy has around 200bhp, but much less than half the weight of the Z4.
2.5Si Sport
Land Rover series 1
Westfield Seiw
1938 BSA Scout under restoration
Plus some other boring vehicles.

Thanks. :)

Mine is only 140bhp from a 1.8 K-series engine, however because it only weighs around 550kg, it still feels lively though I reckon(especially for a naturally aspirated engine).

A well-set up K series is a joyful thing in a light car like a Seven or Elise, you're going to have great fun with it in the summer. I'd rather like an S2000-engined or bike-engined Westfield, but I already have more cars than space

Z4MC - heavily fettled for track use
Lotus Exige - sensible daily driver on the mods slippery slope
Westfield SEiW - in hibernation
Modified RS4 Avant - back in Blighty

It's actually the opposite as the front LSD gives it an awful lot of grip. Pretty certain it would run rings around my M140i which would end up in a hedge :?

Looks to do quite well in stock form on the track :)

Love that An Empire Stormtrooper in a blue suit. 8) Well set up FWD is hard to fault on the road. Had a few Clios drive away from my old ///M on wet twisty roads and my even older Fiat Coupe used to eat M3s and happily keep pace with skoobies, back in the day.

Thanks alot, it is a very confidence inspiring car to drive quickly :) whereas my 140i, great in a straight line but I've always been wary of it with no rear LSD which is what it really needs. Shame its only a retro fit.

Great colour

Reminds me of my 2003 MINI, ride was back breaking as it came on runflats when new. Supercharged engine wasn't bad for a Chrysler :)
