If you find a grommet that a loom goes through then take the outside part of a bic pen, push it through the grommet then feed the wire through.
Saves all the hassle with the wires folding back on themselves.
Of course, once through the grommet, take the pen off the wire again.

Presumably the E89 is the same as the E85/E86 in that the electronics box is located rear left of engine bay. Trace the main loom from here and you should find where it passes through the fire wall. You may find useful pictures by searching for cruise control retrofit on the N52.

Well you’re correct…sadly I persevered and discovered it the hard way..well it wasn’t that hard..I had a 50w led light in the footwell and I could see a glow in the engine bay…as you say the DME/Adaptive damper ECU box has a tunnel into the cabin near the main fuse box…

Should have waited longer.,but thanks appreciated..

Bad news is that the cable harness is designed for LHD cars so not enough cable to reach both that box and the cluster…

I’ll put the boost sensor cabin side and run a pressure pipe to a tap off the OE boost sensor on the charge pipe..
