For sale is my Mini Cooper S with the sought after R53 engine.
I purchased this car earlier this year but as another car I’ve wanted came up unexpectedly, the Mini is now being offered for sale.
This car has had a low number of owners (4, including myself) who, as per the photo’s show, have really taken care of it.
The previous owner owned a courier company so the car was serviced through the fleet and advised that the radiator fans and clutch were replaced. There is no paperwork for this but the clutch certainly feels very good indeed.
I think the car is presented in the best colour scheme and have spent quite a lot recently on preventive maintenance as thought I'd own the car for a longer period. Please see below items that have been replaced in the last few months:
New exhaust (June '23)
Top mount (May '23)
New brake pads all around and brake fluid change (March '23)
Premium Bridgestone tyres fitted just last month which has really improved handling and has led to a smoother ride.
The car was serviced in March and had new filters and spark plugs fitted.
The car came from factory with the Chilli Pack so comes with Xenon head lights, ice cold air conditioning, metallic paint and 17inch alloy wheels.
The car presents very nicely, drives very well and pulls strongly through the gears with no shakes or rattles.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the car which has been very practical with the kids car seats in the back as well as being easy to park.
The car is ULEZ compliant and comes with a 1 year MOT.
There are a couple of dents on the car and some stone chips that are all commensurate with age and the alloy wheels could do with a refurb but nothing really that distracts from what is a very good car that’s ready to be enjoyed.
