New(?) parking scam.

Seen this around a few times in the last day or so, not sure if it is more of a scare story than real, but for those who think their phones are a good way of paying for things it might be one to keep an eye out for.

Wondering if I should create my own, perhaps a fake parking system page where when you enter your reg it tells your your car is also parked elsewhere and Police are on their way to confiscate it.

Or perhaps a QR that links to my Onlyfans site.

Thank you, passed it on to my family The Dartmoor car parks have started putting in parking machines and at one there was a parking sign with a number to ring to pay. We never did However a few weeks ago it disappeared and has never returned. Could this also have been a scam. Legally as far as I know they have to be by the entrance and this one wasn't.
