Z4 3.0si E85 Manual 2007 265bhp - SOLD
Here’s my 2007 3.0si manual in silvergrey currently at 89,200 miles.. It’s been owned by 3 forum members that I am aware of prior to me (I bought it from here). I’ve owned it for over 3 years and it’s been phenomenal having it in my little collection, only up for sale as I need more space as I’ve just bought a bucket list Porsche which needs the garage space.
Service history: 16k,29k,31k,37k,47k,60k (60k by owner with receipts), 67k & 81k. The in dash service indicator states it dosent need one for another 7.5k. However I’m a little fanatical about my cars and just had an oil service completed with “Millers oil” by my specialist, I asked to not reset the service schedule as I did it as an extra one to look after it. At 59k it had the gearbox and diff oil replaced with receipts. At the last MOT I had the near side upper top mount replaced.
In 2016 it a full set of Eibach pro-kit lowering springs and lower arm bushes. Over the last 4-5 years it’s had a new battery, new water pump and thermostat with coolant flush and change by the previous owner.
In the photo’s the car is sitting on bbs 108’s, I have another set of freshly refurbished 108’s alloys with Dunlop sportmaxx rt2 tyres and all have 6mm and above of tread, these will be fitted this week & like both sets are the polished shiny lip. If you would like to buy the spare set which also have 6mm plus of tyre tread then I’m open selling otherwise they’ll be sold after the sale. I was saving these fresh alloys for when I take it to shows this year, they’ve been ceramic coated with Gtechniq.
The car is well specced with sport button, heated memory seats, MFSW, auto lights & wipers, auto dim mirror, bbs 108s, power fold mirrors, xenons, gaptech smart top (remotely opens and closes soft top) and it’s also hardtop prepared (Doesn’t come with one). It has the aux input under the dash so you can simply plug in a cable to your phone or Bluetooth receiver in order to stream your music and use your phone for sat nav.
It’s not perfect (which cars are) but I see it as very good and the best I viewed when looking. I’m very fastidious about my cars as you’ll see below and would certainly say it’s definitely one of the best ones out there.
Here’s a few highlights of what I’ve done to bring this up to a really good standard and phenomenal drivers car!
2 sets of mats (winter/summer)
Headlamp washer pumps replaced both sides
New n/s headlamp starter/ballast (whole front bumper off to fit!)
N/s xenon bulb
reinforced the washer jet pipe work
New Fog lamps as they were cloudy
RBM roof motor relocation
Alloys have G techniq ceramic coating
Uprated exhaust rear tail sections from forum member
Swift performance; (I use these guys for my TTRS & M4 as well)
H&R 20mm rear spacers
Suspension set up for fast road
New front calipers
Brake lines
Braided hoses
New discs and pads all around (DS2500) £1800
H&R front and rear adjustable anti roll bars fitted by Mstyle £598
Weighted OEM BMW gear knob (makes it feel like a shorter throw)
Royal steering wheel refurb with M tri stitching and nappa leather.
Replaced both cup holders
From viewing a few z4’s I noticed that there are quite a few squeaks and rattles from around the dash/air vents. So I accepted this trait and when I bought mine I set about rebuilding and improving their build quality, so now this car as zero rattles and squeaks!!.
Price is firm at this stage as I’m not desperate to sell & I feel I’ve priced this fairly considering what’s been out into this car. If I had just a little more space I would not be doing this as I’ve invested a lot of money and time into making this such a brilliant drivers car, it’s absolutely spot on!
Based in Hemel Hempstead.

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

That’s another bucket list car that I’d been on the hunt for.. Took me 10 years to find a good one with no rust.. I’ll never sell it, much to my wife’s bemusement

Nothing crazy, I’ve been on the look out for a really nice 968 or 944s2 or turbo for a few years and I’ve been offered a brilliant example of an 944s2, most importantly in guards Red & grey leather to match the Saab!.. I’ll never sell it and I know it’ll probably cost a lot to get it up to my expectations, but that’s just what “us” guys with car itches do.. So weird as what I’m collecting is basically all the nice cars my Dad had!.

That sounds great. As a teenager I really admired the lines of 944's when they came into production. Hope you enjoy it and please post some picturesEvo-rbd wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 6:18 pmNothing crazy, I’ve been on the look out for a really nice 968 or 944s2 or turbo for a few years and I’ve been offered a brilliant example of an 944s2, most importantly in guards Red & grey leather to match the Saab!.. Good afternoon
Excuse my ignorance, is this a sport or a SE?
And am I right in saying this is the M54 engine and the more high powered one, sorry for my lack of knowledge.
Cheers
