Prices were at that level a few years ago and might be a bit high now.Kneeson Dashboard wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 10:28 am Hi new boy here looking for a Z4 wondering whether that Alpina at Duke of London is overpriced ? Anyone know anything about it ?Cheers Kneeson
Depends on history of the car, condition and warranty etc.
I'd be looking for 12 months warranty.
Always worth going for a look and test drive..

Hello there me old buddy yeh I'm still breathing and now driving an X1 old mans truck Yes that Roadster is still showing when I've looked on Autotrader. It's listed at £11K and comes with the hard top. I've also fancied a Zed 4M. I'm dreaming probably Moz.
Hope your both keeping well, what are you driving these days?

So, what would you say is a more realistic figure given that it’s a very rare car (to come up for sale now) and with only 34k miles on the clock?
(I haven’t been on here for some years but considering selling mine - thanks)

It's not the price per-se. It's the concept of 'offers over' in an advert.
I get that it's a nice car & has some value.

Oh, I get it now….and agree how that makes it sound like a house sale.
Initially, I thought it was the price you were having an issue with and thought to myself: “Well, my best friend has just bought a Ferrari 296….for about 296 £ Thousand, coincidentally….and that’s not a house either.” And, I think his price is actually quite realistic.
But, now I understand what you meant. I agree, it’s always a slightly odd way of advertising a car. It really means: he wants “no lower than £25K for it”. So, why not just advertise it such by saying “£25k firm”?
That said, many, many years ago, a friend of my mine accompanied his then girlfriend, was interested in buying a certain Morris Minor. When it came to the negotiations and the owner was asked how much he wanted for it? He replied: “Offers around 500-quid.”
To which she replied: “Ok, is £600 any good?
So, you never know!

Put mine up for sale on Mobile.de last night and wondered why I had such a phenomenal number of ‘Hits’ so quickly….over 200 in less than 24 hours!
I put it for the same equivalent price in Euros as it is in £….so, 27500€.
Then this evening my German girlfriend me these two:
The first with higher mileage than mine:
https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/deta ... 9d&ref=srp
The second, in the Netherlands, with lower mileage than mine:
https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/deta ... DES&vc=Car
Needless to say, the words “thoughts” and “second”, not necessarily in that order are presenting themselves to the fore in my consciousness.
