On a low volume car like the zed, this could certainly mean any chance of extending or a new model in 2025 are out of the window.

Shows three pieces, but says two pieces included.

Er the £2.0bn was the low estimate for the cost of just the 5% drop for the high earners, with the high estimate being nearer £6.0bn. No the real cost was the 1% drop for basic rate, NI reduction and the stamp duty reduction, though the latter’s not going to be significant as no one’s offering mortgages! Total tax cuts was around £45.0bn, the biggest tax giveaway in 50 years and all with borrowed money.ori wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 10:07 pmWhile I partially agree with you, the tax carts equate to a few billion at worst assuming it doesn’t actually increase tax revenue. The energy cap is 60 billion in spending and Covid cost us 400 billion. Everyone was crying out for something to be done about energy costs and they did……hence inflation.
Who knew printing money gives inflation? Whole world is a mess.
Furthermore, BMW had already started to increase interest rates well before this.
Anyway have now completed spot the difference, not sure about the new front side vents, but the new grill looks okay

I'll never understand how the critics with such a good idea of how the govt' are doing such a crap job aren't the ones with all the answers of what they'd do as PM, cherry picking is easy, pleasing everyone isn't, balance is surely the thing, give it chance.sars wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 6:19 pmEr the £2.0bn was the low estimate for the cost of just the 5% drop for the high earners, with the high estimate being nearer £6.0bn. I've no idea why BMW have singled out the Z4 update for 9.9% apr. Lots of other models at much lower rates. Maybe they really don't want to sell them
I've just changed mine thankfully so I'm hoping that it comes back down again before the End of Production so I can get a late model swap.

I think you will find our interest rates are on par with most countries around the world and had nothing to do with the recent proposed tax cuts the majority of which don't actually kick in till April next year. Current inflation is due to supply chain issues and the price of oil and gas rather than spending or taxation.

[/quote]Re the drop from 45p. If you listen to the BBC the cost is anything up to 5 billion. If you listen to one of the top economic experts Professor Patrick Minford, he actually says the tax take will increase because of the reduction. Just like it did during the 13 years of the Blair Govt. when it was at 40p. As soon as he put it back up to 45p in the last few moths of his term tax take fell again. Evidence based not speculation.
Plus didn't notice the differences and don't think they are worth the additional cost. Hopefully more colours though

Does look similar. I’m sure we can order the new grilles from BMW when they are available (just need the part numbers), but I wonder if they are a straight swap? They might be a lightly different size.SHIFTY wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 5:16 pm Looks similar to the attached link:-

Maybe it’s one of those things that I say I will swap, but never actually do!

Has that slot been confirmed? my local dealer are trying the same on my behalf but fully expect it to be rejected.millview22 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 2:22 pmYup, UK. Well, the system had a build date for a Z4 in November and my spec was applied to that, so we'll see.MrLatte wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 10:22 pmAre you in the uk? I’ve put down a holding deposit but waiting on confirmation of build dates, they were suggesting March.millview22 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 6:26 pm Resistance was useless...I have ordered a purple. I'm told the build date is November and delivery December - we'll see!

BMW have reduced the interest rate to 5.9%.
Still double what it was.
