Style 108 - bolts

Post by Z4paul » Mon Jan 10, 2022 11:38 pm

Hello all, having spent too long thinking about wheels i have decided to get the 108's professionally refurbed - going for oem diamond cut finish. The company seem pretty sure they can separate them with issues but i think it might be sensible to have spares just in case. Any recommendations on where i might buy these or are there any kind souls who might have a 2/3 i can 'borrow' - happy to return if not used - or buy / contribution to forum etc .
Cheers all.

I sold my 108s while they were still in decent condition partly to avoid potential refurb costs.

But I seem to remember the OE bolts are Titanium or something similarly exotic and cost about £5 each. For something as critical as a wheel I'd only buy from BMW, not some knock-off Chinese Ebay specials!

If nobody can help you out you could try Cotswold BMW or Sopers of Lincoln who both offer a forum discount.
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

Thanks for this Mr Tidy, overlooked Sopers and will give them a call if nothing else turns up. Had toyed with similar idea regarding wheel swap but do like the 108's. I think a refurb and good care from day 1 with wheel wax/sealant is probably what they need, fingers crossed
