Need new rear springs. Mot failed. Can someone please help me with choosing best parts.
I have 3.0 with m sport suspension.
I'm thinking of getting the full eibach kit front and back. Anyone know the cheapest supplier?
What else should I get to refresh the rear suspension? Shocks, mounts, etc need help with guides and parts.
Thank you all

Suplex for OEM replacement.
Eibachs, likely cheapest from German eBay. If you're wanting to go that route though, and considering shocks, perhaps look for the Bilstein B12 kit. Comes with their B8 uprated shocks and eibach springs. Will lower your car 15mm if you're already on Sport suspension.
The shock doesn't need to come off to get the rear springs out however, so up to you if you want to do it. If they're still factory they might be well worn, mine had no bouceback when I took them off! That is a 13 year old 100k mile example however.
If you're changing shocks, top mounts make sense as you have to take them off anyway. If changing springs, you can replace the spring pads but not necessary.

Got any links to the kits and parts? It's £500 for the kit your suggesting which is far too much. I'm on a budget.
It's £150 for the 4 eibach springs. OEM shocks are only £30 for the rear. Front shocks are fine done 3 years ago.
I think I will go OEM shocks unless anything decent for £100 max.
Link to top mounts?

I went for Suplex springs and Bilstein B4s on my Z4C 3.0 with m-sport suspension. I'm very happy and saved cash compared to Eibach etc.

thanks for everyone's help. i decided to do springs only as it's easier for me and they are only £50 for 2 suplex springs for the rear 06231 on ebay at the moment. so a cheap fix to get it past MOT.
might look at a full suspension refresh later on or if they go again.

Are suplex exactly same as OEM or upgraded in any way? Obviously the factory oem ones are very susceptible to snapping so would never replace like for like.

A big improvement. The ride is much better, that fear of losing your filings to each pothole is gone. Handling is fine too. I'm not the best driver but I do enjoy throwing the Z4C down the A68 every week. I do suspect that a lot of the improvement is down to refreshing shocks, springs and top mounts. The old ones were on 70,000 miles, and one of the rear springs was broken.
