I went off silver after my 123d. It was silver with black and I had it 6 and a half years, so when I got my Z4 I basically wanted any other colour!
Which is why my current Z4 is Montego Blue and my E46 is Imola Red - actual colours!
Looking forward to seeing what you go for.
Coupes because stunning!

Jaime,
No less than 25 E46's, if your not doing a bit of buying and selling that's quite impressive! Do you get bored easily?
I guess you must be the Mr Wilks of the E46 world, your even challenging him on the wheel front these days!

i get bored easily i have owned e46's for well over 10 years now though.
I only tend to buy BMWs - i am only on my 5th Z4 though so got a bit of catching up on the Z4 front.
OOh an unexpected update - just bought a lotus white(?) full interior for this with door cards, its being couriered as we speak - looking forward to break the black cabin up a bit

I'd never heard of JOM before this thread, just done a quick Google and they seem to have surprising good reviews especially considering their price point. Interesting that you used e46 ones but which ones did you go for, seems to be 5 or 6 options depending on e46 model. given the differing kerb weights for E46's over E85s I guess you need to choose wisely. these could be a great option for e85/6 owners on a budget but can you get them to adjust to a ride height similar to eibachs etc.

they are JOM bluelines and are suitable for all the e46 range (from a 316i compact to a 330d touring) so imagine the kerb weight difference there, they are perfectly well balanced on the z4, ive had them on there now over 6 months no problems, although as you can probably imagine its never driven hard anywhere now on 11J wheelsMACK wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2017 10:48 am I'd never heard of JOM before this thread, just done a quick Google and they seem to have surprising good reviews especially considering their price point. i probably wouldnt reccomend them to anyone who enjoys to actually drive their car hard and fast as at the end of the day, budget coils IMO are just for maximum lows for minimal cost

Shame they could have been a good alternative option for someone going down the eibachs route without a shocker refresh. At this sort of money you be mad not to as they are probably better than 10+ years old 50, 80, 100k+ knackered old factory ones

My thoughts entirely mate! Id defo be tempted with them if your shockers were leaking and leaving them at a sensible ride height to see your thoughts for sub £200MACK wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2017 12:06 pmI can imagine road humps are big no no.jamie_z4 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2017 11:00 amthey are JOM bluelines and are suitable for all the e46 range (from a 316i compact to a 330d touring) so imagine the kerb weight difference there, they are perfectly well balanced on the z4, ive had them on there now over 6 months no problems, although as you can probably imagine its never driven hard anywhere now on 11J wheelsMACK wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2017 10:48 am I'd never heard of JOM before this thread, just done a quick Google and they seem to have surprising good reviews especially considering their price point.
