Car Chem 1900:1 or Adam's Shampoo, I too used Autoglym and fancied a change, the Car Chem will last you a life time, the dilution ratio is amazing.

Car shampoo?
I was planning to give this a go when my current AG stuff runs out. Good to hear a recommendation.
Coupe, KW coil overs, PSB limiters, Powerflex ARB bushes, 18" CSL reps, Aero skirts, ZHP leather knob, Whippy and proud. Probably needs a wash

I had a look at the chemical guys website and the choice of car shampoo blew my mind, too much choice.

I've got their snow foam which always gets a car wash off to a good start!

Another vote from me. Don't expect lots of suds on the car but nice and slick and cleans really well.
I also rate the BH snow foam but I use it through a garden sprayer - works just as well but you don't get the drama of the shaving foam effect plus it lasts a longer this way. Also don't get glared at by the OH wondering when all that foam will disappear

I was always told that as long as it was just shampoo without wax it's would be fine. AG smells nice and the colour is amazing though.

I used to use AutoGlym and moved over to Meguiar's, and recently moved over the Bilt Hamber, best car wash shampoo I've had. It's highly concentrated you only need a tablespoon's worth in a bucket.

Another vote for Megs Gold Class available at Halfords at the end of the day what makes cleaning a car a lot easier is claying followed by polish and wax the mitt just glides across the surface.
To be honest I have not noticed a huge difference in most shampoos I have used over the years best value I ever used was Tripplewax when it was available in Woolworths for a pound a bottle.

Is that how you measure it out, with a tablespoon?LordOxygen wrote: ↑Sat Aug 12, 2017 10:09 am I used to use AutoGlym and moved over to Meguiar's, and recently moved over the Bilt Hamber, best car wash shampoo I've had. It's highly concentrated you only need a tablespoon's worth in a bucket.
I normally use a couple of squirts for AG.

you can get a 300ml one which is about £12. Maybe go for that one to try first of all, you can buy direct from BH as well.dhobbs wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2017 9:27 amGoing to give it a go.LordOxygen wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2017 8:02 amNo, I pour in half a cap full
