WANTED....Roadster 3.0 manual
Looking for a manual box roadster 3.0....No cream leather thanks
I'd prefer central Scotland based but will travel for the right car.
No rust, no heavy scratching and no rubbish please.
£6000 max for the right car but would prefer less.
Thanks

WANTED....Roadster 2.5Si or 3.0 manual
there all pretty good don't just limit yourself to 3.0 I did that on my first one, Had 3.0i 231 bhp, 2.2 170bhp, 2.5si 218bhp and now just got a 2.5i 190bhp. I prefer the M54 engine over the later facelift N52 engine. You will find more 2.5i for sale

I'd say come and have a go but it's a bit far To leicester for you.
The SMG gearbox is essentially manual with no clutch.
I'm sure the knowledgable folks on here can tell you in more detail the nuances of it.

WANTED....Roadster 3.0 manual
I've not found anything as yet and I'm thinking of upping my budget and looking for a facelift. It worries me about all the sticky steering problems folk are having with the early models. I'm thinking £7500 should get me sorted. Thanks for the heads up though

I think you need to look further into what you're meaning. Do you mean sticky steering which seems to affect facelift, 06 onwards cars, perhaps early cars as well, I'm not 100% sure, giving a jerky, sticky feeling, usually when there is heat involved to the steering column area, or early cars that sometimes have their torque sensor fail resulting in total loss or intermittent loss of the power steering with 2K for a new column or you'd have to find a second hand unit. Either way with the electric steering assistance Zeds there is a capacity for problems which ever year you buy. I've had both happen to an '06 3.0si which had sticky steering, and an '04 3.0se project car that I bought with known intermittent power steering loss.Udspie wrote: ↑Tue May 23, 2017 12:03 pmI've not found anything as yet and I'm thinking of upping my budget and looking for a facelift.
