I think it looks awesome, and I especially like the quads.
Thanks for sharing the process.
Rockford wrote:Nice one, looks good, hats off for sticking with quality parts and really making sure everything is done as it should.

I'm not a huge fan of the quad exhaust (it screams "custom" where as the rest of your mods are fairly subtle) but they do look quite aggressive. I think the rest of it looks absolutely great!

There are not many Z's get that response from me - as many keep them stock.

What you have done is by subtle modifications made a fantastic motor - it looks great.

Love it.

Thanks

Here is a recent date I had with the Z4.. I assume it's perfectly normal to wait for a table next to the window so you can take periodic glances at your mechanical love child.

Love what you've done to the beast and so glad to find someone brave enough to change from stock!
I'm about to start modding mine and have a question RE lowering: I believe your coils are adjustable, what did you find was the optimum height to lower it by? Can you get over speed bumps?

Appreciate your help :)

The 1st and only thing I've done to mine is to get rid of those awful badges. Bmw didn't even put them on straight. :D

First time I've noticed this, but boy are there some M6/6 series similarities!

BMW have a blind guy who fits all of their badges. As such he's no use at all, but his guide dog does it's best at getting them straight.

I have yet to see an ///M badge straight on the rear of either a Roadster or a Coupe. If you take the average of mine and Flimper's they're straight!

Stunning amount of work and dedication, a serious P&J. Well done.
Look forward to your cleaning regime, although what you have mentioned so far, puts me to shame, although I could probably double the quantity of cleaning/polishing goodies you showed.
I'm assuming its well garaged for it to look so clean on each pic, or is it only used on dry sunny days?
