Clay your glass !
Whilst claying, glazing and waxing my Zed yesterday I noticed small particles of fallout adhered to all the exterior glass. I normally use wire wool to remove glass contamination but thought I would give this a try. I got myself a small piece of 3M Fine Clay, lathered up the glass with Wurth Active Glass Foam and worked round in an up/down & side to side pattern. The result is quite amazing...the cleanest, smoothest, shiniest glass ever ! Give it a go !

I have been claying my screen for the past 4 years. When I first read about doing this on another forum, I was dubious to say the least. However it is quick and so easy to do and makes a world of difference, so don't hesitate, just do it

Clay should be demoted as its use increases. So paint work -> glass -> wheels.

Bit concerned if I was to do this to my windscreen it would fill the multitude of small stone chips with clay. Like it has done on front of bonnet...most annoying..

I think you may be pushing a little too hard with the clay piece, Jak!jakblade wrote:Bit concerned if I was to do this to my windscreen it would fill the multitude of small stone chips with clay. Like it has done on front of bonnet...most annoying..

I think I will give this a go as I can hear the contaminants when the wipers sweep
