Your engine code is what most people call the 'M54' engine (and the 2,5L model is called specificly M54

So if you see problemtopics relating to M54 engines here on the forum, thats when you want to pay attention
This problem is only applicable on the
S54 engine and is found in the z4m (and e46 M3), and some other S50/S65/S85 engines, but of no real concern to the M54 engine range
