Bowland for lunch
Got fed up with decorating the house last Wednesday, sun was out - so was I . No matter what you drive, it's what cars were made for
Watch it at 1080p full screen. Lancashire is lovely

Absolutely! Mr. Beetle.
Mr W, next time you're up that way give me a yell & we could meet up somewhere and I'll buy you a brew. That area is my old bike stomping ground, love it up there, it's a huge area as you know, spreading up into the Dales via Ingleton and Hawes and right across to the Northumberland Moors if you wish. We're lucky to live here

Great vid Dewi, extremely tastefully done in my view, shows off the countryside really well and I even liked the music in the background!
I'd happily come on a meet-up in and around these areas if there is interest. I did a (solo) trip a couple of months back all around the Dales - pretty much sticking to large sections of the Tour de France route so that covered lots of the Ribble/Hawes areas and I loved it - clearly the Tour organisers chose the route as it shows off the landscape in its best light. I'm not as good a photographer as you chaps appear to be but the scenery was fantastic nonetheless. I slightly extended my route at the beginning as I wanted to go to Kirkstone Pass in the Lakes and I was lucky with the weather that day; driving round the back side of Ambleside was glorious.

Great drive !
Thanks for sharing.
Now I understand why so many Brit Zeds don't need cruise control.
Over here there is nothing similar.
Our 'ditches' would be littered with the carcasses of distracted and aggressive drivers.
Cheers

No gas stations or cops in unmarked cars ?

Andy, great pics..we'll have to have a meet at the Parkers Arms.
It's a while since I had the pleasure of driving the Forest/Trough of Bowland roads. From memory it was back in the day of the MX5...2006 ish.
Look forward to that mate, the knee is coming on nicely now, a week since the op

Re: Bowland for lunch
Funnily enough were were discussing whether to have a blast to the Lake District before Christmas, & stay overnight.
The Parker's & Bowland might be another cunning plan
