It's a lot harder to do on an M because of the big crease in the bumper under the headlight. I think I'll leave it like this for a few months, get the holes in the bumper filled and painted and then if I don't like it I'll just stick the plate in the middle.

Noooooooooooooooooooo
Not being in the middle (and absolutley spot on central) would do my head in :)
We've just got new recycling bins, my wife bought numbers to stick on the front but left it to me as she knew they would have to be put on straight
Too right - I even measured the gap to the edge on both sides

1) Never liked the big plate holder thing in the middle
2) Always liked the Alfa 156 plates
3) Always liked the hastily-stencilled Prova plates on Le Mans cars

As I said, I'm not wedded to it and it's not like it can never be undone. When it eventually goes up for sale it'll be wearing different plates and I'll mount them in the middle.

It may look OK if you put another on the right hand side! :P

Could put half the plate on one side and the other half on the other.

The only reason cars have their plate on the side is when there's no place for it (alfa 156) or it fowls the cooling (frontmounted intercoolers etc).

Many has simply removed the ugly plateholder including me:
