Great Vid, made better by the sound of the engine instead of some shite dubstep overdub, why is it always dubstep put to car vids . Been thinking of heading to the ring but I've been a bit hesitant after reading the penalty costs of simply breaking down, let alone accidentally trashing the car.

Dont let that put you off dave. If you go with the correct mindset and accepted preconception that ur either going to have a great time or going there and trashing ur ride as well as emptying your bank account in the event of a spectacular crash involving you, a half million pound gumpert apollo and 20metres of armco, then it shouldnt put you off at all!DMC63 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2017 9:09 pm Great Vid, made better by the sound of the engine instead of some shite dubstep overdub, why is it always dubstep put to car vids . That was great - I cast it to my new home cinema and you were life size! Hats off you were taking that a lot faster than I'd of been.

Very impressive! How fast do you feel you could go, going balls out 100% and with a clear track?

Lol. Thanks Chris. I totally agree the 'mindset' towards the experience. No doubt I'll go for it this summer. I'm confident behind the wheel of the Z and generally a good kart driver so I think these skills will transfer over somewhat.Chris_D wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2017 9:50 pmDont let that put you off dave. My main reason for taking the car to the ring is to have fun. I'm not out to break any world records. I just want to be able to push the car and not have to worry about speed cameras and cars coming the other way

May 2nd for the DN trackday, should be plenty of opportunity for some clear laps, plus the use of the full length of DH.Angelus666 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 11:01 am Very impressive! How fast do you feel you could go, going balls out 100% and with a clear track?
Not sure the Ring is the place to go 100% balls out, however the DN Trackday is better suited to be able to push a bit more.

Wow! 8min BTG with that amount of traffic.... Well done sir! Awesome drive and you were really going for it.... I don't dare it anymore to go full throttle on schwedenkreuz because it makes the car so unstable (as I also see in your video).dannyg_m3 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2017 4:53 pm Hi All,
Hope you're all getting out in your Zed's now that the weather is on the up!
I've just come back from a trip to the 'Ring in my Z4M Coupe.
Managed an 8:00 minute lap on this video which as you can see has two fairly major traffic / yellow flag sections.
Normally; I visit the Nurburgring one a month with my Z4M roadster...
My mods are:
-Bilstein PSS-10 suspension (street <-> track set-up)
- Vibratech engine mounts
- Turner Motorsport RTAB Limiters
- AP Racing BBK (with Pagid pads)
- CSL wheels with Michelin Suppersport tyres (=> CUP 2 wil be coming)
What is the type of BBK you have, with which pads?
Does the H&R adjustable roll bars make a lot of difference in your opinion?

Thanks very much...
My car gave 333 BHP on Chipwozzard's dyno, just out of interest..
The BBK is an XYZ setup (same as K-Sport), 6 pot front 4 pot rears with Performance Friction 11 pads which are really good.
Can't answer about the H&R anti-roll bars as I fitted them at the same time as fitting my KW's so never had the experience of the car in its current guise but without the H&R's...
