I Wonder if a smallish dog would potentially fit for short journeys?

I have a pair of Bedlington Terriers that travel quite happily in the back of my Z4 MC. I put a detachable screen on the inside of the rear glass door to keep the sun off them.

Has anyone tried anything bigger ? I have a full size labradoodle, but have not tried fitting him in yet.

I did have a Z4 Coupe and have a lively Springer Spaniel..

Thankfully: he was ok in the back, so long as it wasn't too long a journey..
Mind you, within minutes of leaving home - he was always asleep within minutes and snoring his head off!!

My French Bulldog fits comfortably in the boot of my Z4C. Especially when you remember to pull the boot cover back :?

We put her bed and chewy in the back and she seems quit content!

If someone can convince me that my dog will fit in the back, then even I would consider a coupe! :P

So, I tested the dog in the back today. He seems to fit perfectly well, but when let out he exited faster than I have seen from any other car. Next weekend we progress to trying a drive out with the dog in the back and see what happens.
I also found an additional use for the Whippy !

She wouldn't be as happy in a Z4M I suppose...

I'd be worried about such a small space in the event of a crash or rear impact though.
