In my 2005 E46 M3 whenever my wife or I use our key it automatically knows our seat position when you unlock, which is very useful indeed. I've never had it coded in or anything.
However our 2007 z4mc does not do this. So I assume it must be possible, but how do you do it??
Thanks

If you can get the SSS virtual machine to turn on and boot up, and detect the cable is plugged into the car, the hard bit is done.
If you're in that state, I can guide you to the option in question.
Tho, this is also possible with NCSExpert (NCSDummy ftw!) if you've got that up and connected
