I don't know if my google skills are failing me or what but I can't find any decent resolution photos of a Silbergrau M roadster with silver CSL style wheels. I have an idea I want to Photoshop first to see how it will work
Can anybody help me out for some internet points? Bonus points if they're 19"!

Got to love how many my old Z4M with CSLs comes up on google!
Not a roady but gives you a good idea. The CSLs look better on the coupe imo but still look great in the roady.
Plenty in my album

Strange how your view changes over time. I used to think the front breaks were huge. Now they look very every day.

Ah, maybe yeah. Didn’t get a good look as you went past, but looking at those pics now... very nice.99ron wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2017 1:43 pmMight have been me. Was parked with the BMW club. Mine is on 359s.MrPT wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2017 1:10 am There was one at Duxford this year. Not with us though.

Tell me about it! Yours seems to be the only car that comes up no matter what I google
I already have CSL reps on my roadster but I want to try something with the colour. Have Photoshopped a coupe photo and I think it looks good but want to try it on a roadster photo now to confirm
Thanks but I'd already found some non-M pics. Would rather the M for the most accurate depiction.MrPT wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2017 1:10 am This is close: <a class="vglnk" href="viewtopic.php?t=51944" rel="nofollow"><span>http</span><span>://</span><span>www</span><span>.</span><span>z4</span><span>-</span><span>forum</span><span>.</span><span>com</span><span>/</span><span>forum</span><span>/</span><span>viewtopic</span><span>.</span><span>php</span><span>?</span><span>t</span><span>=</span><span>51944</span></a>
Very nice! Is there any chance you have a higher resolution shot I can grab?

There are some here...

A lot of them are unfortunately smartphone pics. I've lots of pictures of other people cars that I take at shows with an SLR but not many of my own.

I thought you guys who helped me out would like to see what I was playing at.
I've been looking for something to make the otherwise fairly inconspicuous Silbergrau Zed have a bit more visual pop. I've always been a fan of the M4 GTS wheels with the two tone colour: a silver face and orange inner. Orange is such a perfect complimentary colour to silver grey, so I thought maybe that could work on a Z4 with CSL wheels:
The verdict: I do love the wheels painted like that but alas I feel this is simply too wild for the E85/E86. If I had a grey F8x I'd do it in a heartbeat!
Ultimately, looking at Tom's photos above, I think his solution is really nice. I can either have my CSL replicas repainted or Im inclined to keep my eyes peeled on the used wheel market from a set of actual lightweight CSLs or quality replicas (like BBS). While I'm inclined to do the calipers orange like Tom, I'll look into some other other colours such as blue. I do know a guy with a set of F82 calipers for sale but I'm not so keen on paying that much :/
