awesome! Such a fantastic project Sim. Probably the only "Cat" car that I'd imagine most members on here would be happy to own!

Re: Z4M Now On H&R Springs
Haha will do I'll try and get some more pics tomorrow. I've not had much running time on them yet so I won't speculate on handling or ride too much but seems position up to now. Seems fine on speed bumps atm but haven't been over and of those stupid square ones that you'd normally straddle yet. Don't think it will knock my sump off though
whats really annoying me the is it's higher at the front :/ but it was before. Front has dropped exactly 25mm on the front according to my crude measurements. Fronts were 20mm last night settled to 25mm today. Rears had dropped 20mm so expect them to settle at 25 tomorrow.

Thank you very much!StevenH72 wrote:awesome! Such a fantastic project Sim. Probably the only "Cat" car that I'd imagine most members on here would be happy to own!
Tbh the problem with most write offs is that 99% of the time, someone has bought it to fix and sell on for profit. So corners are cut in the interest of maximising profit. Wheras when someone buys one to keep, there's a good chance it will end up in better nick than than equivalent 'straight' cars. Really with my car you should only be put off by the fact that the paint isn't all original anymore. But I'd imagine most cars of this age will have had some anyway!

Looking good!
Get some 10mm H&R spacers all round to complete the look.
p.s. What rear silencers do you have on the car? Don't look OEM, but nice tips.

Spacers are next on the list definitely. At least 10mm maybe more.gwatson wrote:Looking good!

Not a bad idea that beedub thanks, I'll look in to it. I've considered a hardtop but there are a few reasons against it tbh.Beedub wrote:just install some 10mm spring pads for the rear, job done. car looks very nice tbh.... one of the nicer roadsters on here for sure, any thoughts about grabbing a hardtop for the complete vehicle??
1) Doesn't look nearly as good on black as it does on other colours (yours looks amazing!)
2) I have the roof down at every opportunity, I can imagine being in lots of situations where I really wished I'd not put it on!
3) No where to really safely store it lol.
Still, if I came accross a real bargain I probs would get it lol. Would probably have to paint it some funky colour though lmao
edit: got me looking on ebay for one now
