Z4M Gear Knob
So my Gear Knob came away in my hands last night after some spirited driving and the plastic clip has broken off. Anyone got one of these or know where i can get a like for like from (trying to avoid dealer prices)?
Or any good alternatives, the power cable for the gear knob has also broken

Crikey, that's some effort! Not quite sure what you mean by the plastic clip, however, if you looking for a change to the better I would recommend the OEM F10 M5 gearknob which many change to. Shortens the throw, sits lower, illuminates better and looks a whole lot nicer IMO, albeit costing £100 or so from BMW. Very simple to swap. I think a standard replacement is about £70??

Re: Z4M Gear Knob
Is that a direct fit for a 6spd 3.0si Coupe? Appreciate its not the illuminated one, just like the look of the shorter, chunkier M gear knob.Terryvision wrote:Get a ZHP you won't regret it

Re: Z4M Gear Knob
It surprised me! I think the clip had been broken for some time and only took a quick shift from 2nd to 3rd before it just came off entirely. It still sits in position but i think its best safety wise to get a new oneTomK wrote:Crikey, that's some effort!
