Glad you found what you wanted, Welsh, Really nice coupe, love the seats and piano dash like ours.
Where did you get the stainless steel Fang Protectors from or were they already on?
Mike & Sandy

EnthuZiaZT, Thanks its barely got a stone chip on her! I had the stainless bumper protectors made at a local engineering company. I had the CAD drawing off a forum member

I remember this one on Pistonheads when I was looking for mine, looks lovely 8)

I'm going to need some fang protectors in the next couple weeks, any chance you can send me the CAD drawing or upload it?

Mark-Z4, I will dig through my emails for the forum member I got the CAD drawing off, and if its fine by him ill send it to you.

Give me a pm with your email address ready

love the car and the colour.

I think the ///M front bumper is a "must" for 3.0's really sets the car off nicely.

Looking forward to seeing many more pics in the future!

Thanks guys! Loving the car the looks, the power and the road presence it's such an attention grabber for the right reasons 8)

Z4M-2006, Would love a little drop but concerned it would ruin the ride!? Also the M bumper is already very low how do people manage when lowered?

Thanks

depends what it's like where you live and what you plan on using it for.

I've got an m bumper fitted and lowered on eibachs and it is a pain sometimes - the main issues are the speed bumps we have at some of the factories at work and also ramps can catch you out, I've noticed a fair few driveways have crevices at the bottom now, presumably water running down and freezing in the winter has opened up cracks, anyway they are a pain, as if your tyres settle in them they effectively add a fair few degrees to the slope.

the very fact that I notice these things means it's probably better to leave it standard unless you have a burning desire to lower it. day to day the ride is better than standard imo.

you'll have someone tell you that they have never touched the bottom of the bumper now, despite being lowered 3" and having a fat wife on board... :)

Cheers guys, JaEdBa, Thanks for the lil review that's what I fear! I wouldn't want to ruin the car or worry about catching the bumper everyday so I'm gunna leave her standard

id definatly reccommend dropping it! will make it handle & look soo much better!

you will only have problems with scraping your front bumper if you fly over speed humps! i always slow down, usualy into second gear unless a harsh bump then its first.

This is who low mine is with an M bumper & i manage

Cheers :D shes my daily drive so gets taken all over

the roads aint great around me really, but i do manage. I tend to keep away from places with large speed humps to avoid any damage, but ive never come accross anything that i cant get over :P

Id suggest looking into Eibach springs as it will give you a decent enough drop, but wont spoil your drive everywhere, plus the front bumper fang protectors do their job quite well

The roads around me are poor too,and i live up a farmers track.

But never grounded the coupe, although some of the huge speed humps need to be taken with care..

Do it.......19" without a drop just looks too high.... :poke:

The Eibach Pro Kits are awesome, I've used them on both my Integra R and CTR. They provide a little drop without compromising ride quality. If your going to go lower then 40mm then personally I'd use dampers also as it could put too much strain on your OEM units.

are those fang protectors legal?

I would have thought fitting any sort of blade to the front of a car is dangerous and irresponsible.
