2017 National CHARITY RAFFLE MONEY/DONATIONS, VOTING

As per title,this is to see where those who were there on the Saturday,and who bought Raffle tickets,want the money we raised to go to.

Final amount raised was £170, so Big Thanks to everyone who bought tickets

Looking to donate to one of the following (or give me your suggestions,folks).......

1.THE DOGS TRUST.....6

2.WWF ANIMAL CHARITY/RSPCA...2

3.CANCER CHARITY,eg.Cancer Research UK,Marie curie,etc??

4.BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION......1

5.CATS PROTECTION.....1

6.MENINGITIS/AIR AMBULANCE...1

7.DEMENTIA CHARITY.......7

The first two are because there are a few people on here who are animal lovers/dog lovers,and because we have never donated to an Animal charity before.
In the past years we have given to Christie's cancer research hospital in Manchester,Marie Curie,Cancer Research UK,The British Heart Foundation, Multiple sclerosis society,etc.

Only those who bought Raffle tickets to post on here where you all want the money to go to,Thanks.

WILL CLOSE THE VOTING ONE WEEK FROM TODAY,I.E NEXT MONDAY NIGHT.
MONEY WILL BE SENT ON BY MYSELF TO THE CHARITY THE MAJORITY HAVE CHOSEN, CHEERS

I know I didn't contribute, as I wasn't there, but Dog's Trust for me too, as that's where we got our recently-departed (at a good 15 1/2 years of age) Labrador Retriever from.

While it really doesn't matter where the money goes as all charities are short and need funds, but if there is to be a vote then this is a bit too leading, nominating 2 animal charities first, then voting for one

The charities I tend to favour are Meningitis because I was hospitalised with it when I was a child and Air Ambulance because I'm a keen rambler and biker. However if we are looking at an animal charity could I suggest the RSPCA as they cover all animals so should keep everyone happy.

We have Never done an Animal Charity as the recipient,Phil.
Got to start somewhere with the suggestions....
And as I thought,we now have 1 vote each for about 4 different charities,which means we don't get alot of votes for any 1 charity,lol.

As a cat owner I'm tempted to vote for that but given a choice I have to go for humans first.
I vote for Dementia.

If the raffle tickets where a £1 ,don't know I wasn't there but lets just say they were,why not put up a link to where we can donate and for a quid we all can vote plus join in the fun with more being raised for whatever the winning charity may be just a thought

Looks like it's between Dimentia and Dogs trust,close thing with only a few more people to vote.
Hopefully they will soon,and we can get a clear winner
