Spontaneous BMW combustion

Post by Chris_D » Sun May 21, 2017 8:28 am

Probably more common than human spontaneous combustion, which I always thought was a Catholic thing brought on by severe guilt  but I wonder how commonthis really is worldwide in beemers. Anyone concerned?

I have heard of it but have also heard of it happening with other cars like Corsas and Fiestas.

Spontaneous BMW combustion

I've not really heard much across the forums to be honest, I would be a bit worried if I owned a Vauxhall Zafira as they seemed to suffer combustion problems. I did have a 118d that every so often would give acrid burning smells inside the car but just thought it was the other half breaking wind :?
