Ditzy double declutching in a TT. Lolz

Was scadging around yewtube looking at peeps different heel-toe techniques and stumbled accross this.
Some dufus has obviously convinced her that double declutching in her TT (manual gearbox with, i would hope, its original synchromesh gearbox) is a good idea. Then she decided to share her new-found wisdom with the world.
Bless.

Better match gear box shaft speed with engine? = less wear - I tend to DDC downshifting but then I am an older driver and used to drive trucks and busses :driving:

How do you bring the revs up on a down change on the road? bang it in? hold the clutch in? heel-toe? DDC & HnT (if you wanna show off)?

I've found it produces a smoother gear change than the single clutch method with blip.

tools in the box and all that :D

When I'm on a leisurely drive, I don't bother using the clutch at all, and just practice rev-matching instead.

I DDC and HnT (if I'm braking) when I'm driving aggressively as it makes for a smoother down change. I don't drive my Zed without using the clutch but I do when I drive other manual cars. As mmm-five said, it's good to practise...especially in rental cars :P
I'd be happy to discuss the finer points of a manual double clutch with her
