It was knocked down as he is rebuilding a new one.
Thought that might be the case, should be funny either way.

Just watched it, thought it was very good. No doubt the Daily Mail will be suitably outraged about a couple of the jokes.
The dead celebrity bit went on for a little too long, but spectacular production values and great cinematography.
I didn't see it myself but apparently Clarkson was interviewed recently and one of the questions he was asked was about why the revamped Top Gear hadn't been as well received as it might have been. His reply was something like 'Watch the end credits, there are cameramen and producers and directors, but no writers, these things don't happen by themselves'.
Cheers, Dave
If God is watching us, the least we can do is be entertaining...

£60 for a series of Top Gear seems a bit steep, do you get anything else out of Amazon Prime?

Yes. As well as access to a lot of TV series and movies, you also get free one day delivery on a lot of items.

Amazon are making some cracking original programmes at the mo IMHO.

Just watched it now. It wouldn't let me view on my iPad though?

I enjoyed it a lot. Loved the humour/chemistry between the three. My only slight gripe was that the format was pretty much identical to their BBC show. I'd have liked to see a few more new ideas format-wise now the shackles are off.

It didn't feel quite as harmonious as it once did but that's the slight change in format perhaps.

I enjoyed it and will watch more but I can't say I'm as enthused as the old top gear at this point.

Really enjoyed the first episode , agree with others its the three presenters together that works for me.

Loved the car reviews and general banter between them, like putting on a favorite pair of shoes.

I'm possibly going against the grain here but....

I had grow tired of the Top Gear format while it was on BBC 1,

Now, we have basically got a slightly less PC Top Gear

Same jokes, same boring commentary and same out of the realms of normal people cars..

Just finished watching it - brilliant

And it's even available in 4k UHD format - the detail and quality of some of the footage was amazing
