Hey Paul, I spoke to the garage on Sat and was told that I should have the car back by the end of this week. Heard nothing since - I'm taking it that no news is good news. It's bloody nerve-racking waiting though :(

It'll be reet fella.
Any plans once it's back up and running? Ur prob going to be concerned that everythings straight and normal again the first couple of days but after that it will be all smiles again i'm sure.
It felt great getting Betty back up and running again after being out of action. I know it was a different kettle of fish as to the reason it was out of action but what sense of enjoyment to be back behind the wheel again!

Yes, I can empathise with you - what do they say: 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' :D
Once I'm happy with the bodywork and have had a test drive and made sure its as planted and smooth as before I can breath a sigh of relief and relax back into ownership. The next big mod I'm planning is cruise control :driving:

Hope all falls into place and you're happily back on the road soon. Be ready for some de-snagging though Marlon, perhaps a bit of trim or some paint match that needs sorting - hope not but if so I think it's not unusual. Main thing is you get back on the road enjoying the Zed again.

Sorry about your car Marlon. Always bad when someone bashes your baby. When you get her back give it a good going over ie check for paint match and over spray over any rubber seals before you sign for it. Good luck and chill out!

Just spotted this thread Colin, gotta be gutted when something like this happens and after the year I've had I definitely feel your pain. Hopefully it'll all be sorted quickly for you

Just wrong, so wrong in every way. I've always wanted to get inside minds of people who feel apparently comfortable in doing this sort of thing. I've heard all the excuses and so much more, and you know what, all it takes is a little decency and self respect in saying 'I did the wrong thing'.

Seems that there's no room for that these days.

Hope it all works out mate.

Cheers JC :D

I know many of you have been in my position or worse, and I know its only a car and god knows there are worse things that happen in life, but everything's relative isn't it; so within this world of car enthusiasts its wonderful to have such support.

Hopefully I will be posting some good news tomorrow night.

Thanks again guys :)
