Hi, we have similar looking beasts growing this time of year but I’ve always been too wary of cooking & eating them in case of mind expanding issues :)

We have mushrooms on the lawn, little yellow looking things, free to who ever want to pick them.
I did find a large puff ball once, that was beautiful when sliced and fried in garlic butter yum yum :)

The most common in the uk are these and can be eaten raw, dried, brewed in a tea or cooked though “I’ve heard” best “effects” eaten raw. Enjoy.

They say to touch them on your lips and then wait 30 minutes or so. If it reacts, definitely dont eat them but if no reaction....take your chances.

That's the SAS school of training as the inside of the lip is the most sensitive skin you have

Google: "Poison Lip Test" There are various stages before getting this far..
