Emotional !

Post by Gerry » Sun Feb 26, 2017 12:29 am

I have had little need for the forum the past couple years as the stuff I learned from this forum in the previous 6 years was fantastic and enabled me to keep my 14 year old zed in tip top condition . Traded it in against a wee 1 series . My age , grandchild and the missus forced my hand , It was emotional , had the zed for 8 years .
To all in this forum thanks guys , even tho I havnt commented much , I have been lurking :-) , your advice and knowledge has been fantastic , thanks again .

Anyone know of a good baby beamer forum ? LoL

No need to be a stranger Gerry, I'm in the process of becoming zed-less but intend to stick around on the forum.

Tim could help out on the baby beamed forum I think.

Exactly what I did when access for both of us became a bit difficult (slightly high kerbs needed to be avoided). I signed up for the Babybmw forum and it's not quite the same somehow, very similar format but so far yet to pass GO. We'll see.

HAHAHA, i'm surprised you even remembered that pic - I thought short term memory loss was one of the biggest things in the over-70's?

and i'm in my 40's fyi. you could call that old i suppose, but it's all completely subjective. i still listen to drum 'n bass which i should probably have given up in my 30's but you know what - fugg everyone else's music tastes, pre-conceptions and prejudices

edit: and did you mean 'knackers' or 'gnashers'?
I think you started out by typing you still had your own set of knackers before you realised that wasn't the case and decided to turn it into gnashers half-way through typing. bwwaaaaaahahaha :poke:

Which 1 Series have you gone for Gerry? BabyBMW is about the best site for the 1er http://www.babybmw.net/forum/index.php? ... 246372e7a6 or there's 1Addict which is a little more global.

Know how you feel OP - my constant dithering about selling my car is all about emotion - Tim's Z3 is another example - Labrokes are apparently offering odds of 5/2 on that we won't go through with it
