Rear wheels, offsets and avoiding rub!

Post by mjennings23 » Thu May 04, 2017 11:25 am

As per another thread on here, considering 18" E46 M3 wheels as an alternative to MV2

However, the rears have a much lower offset of ET27 compared to ET50 standard. They're also 9J rather than 8.5J.

Obviously this would make them stick out more, and I read about plenty of you lot using 20mm spacers with ET50 wheels, sonny question is would these rub with 255/35 profile tyres?

I should also note the car has M Sport suspension so is slightly lower than standard
