Vredstein Ultrac Satins

Post by cobra » Wed Mar 15, 2017 11:00 pm

OMG feels like a new car. Just Replaced the run flats on the front with some Ultrac Satin Vreds and can't believe the difference. No more tramlining and a far more positive feel, quieter and softer less crashy ride. The 225 40 R18s are currently £65 inc VAT at Camskill and arrived 2 days after ordering. I went for these over the older Ultrac Vorti because they have an A rating in the wet and were cheaper. Only downside is they don't do the Satins in 255 35 R18 for the rear yet, but still have heaps of tread on the run flats so need to wear them out first. I know all you purists probably say you shouldn't mix different tyre types. Should I do some doughnuts? :D

£65 apiece is not a lot for quality rubber , do they do 245 40 18 in them for the rears ?

The Satin are less performance orientated than the vorti, which is why they are cheaper.
