For Sale: Perambulator Foldable Garage

Post by M@r]{ » Tue Mar 13, 2012 5:09 pm

If you want you car to be protected from the elements but like me you don't like covers that come into contact with the paint work, ie scared of that wet n dry effect, then these are ideal. You simply drive upto them, then pull it up and over the car. They are superb!

I have only used my inside a barn to keep the dust off, but they can be used outside although you'll need to fix them down (I have some U brackets somewhere that I'll throw in if I can find them)

I bought mine from these guys:

Its the 17x7 Poly one. So will fit a Z4 with room to spare! It was £420 new, I'm asking just £275 no offers! Even when folded it is large, so you'll need a large van to collect, or best bet a car trailer that you can strap it down to. Collection only from just south of Milton Keynes.

I have a smaller one for my GSXR600, its called a 'Bike Barn' and they're pretty good, although even when bolted down, I was a little worried this winter with all the strong winds! I parked the (girlfriends) car next to it to take the brunt of the wind

Do you mean it needs to be strapped to a van or trailer all the time or can it just be bolted to the ground?

Sorry I've just realised you are referring to pick up of the garage when talking about the van or trailer. Never seen one of these before may be ideal to protect the new car until we look to move to somewhere with a garage in the next year. Do you have any pics of it?

Sorry for the delay in getting pictures. Not pictures of mine as I'm struggling to get them, but this is the exact one. Also a link to an Ebay ad with them. As you can see mines a bit of a bargain (in fact I'm wondering if I should put the price up! ;)
