FS - 2006 2.5si Sport manual roadster - 59k - £5,999
Hi All,
After 3 great years of ownership, the time has come to sell my Z4. It is a 2006 (06) si roadster, finished in silver grey with an oregon pearl grey leather interior and aluminium dash inserts. It currently has 59,600 miles on the clock and has just had a brake fluid change and a new MOT.
Standard spec - all the usual M Sport items - seats, suspension, steering wheel etc + MV2 18" alloys (in very good uncurbed condition, although a few spokes are starting to show very slight signs of corrosion on the inner edges).
Factory fitted options - bluetooth, MFSW, rear parking sensors, cruise control, cup holders, heated seats and wind deflector.
Options fitted since it left the factory - Gaptech + remote roof module, E90 weighted perforated leather M Sport gear knob (in my opinion this is much nicer than a ZHP), aux input, spacers (12mm front and 20mm rear) and genuine velour mats that are in great condition.
Other good bits - roof motor relocated to the boot (courtesy of ducklakeview), tyres replaced with non runflats (Pirellis on the rear, Goodyear Eagles on the front - all with good tread), seats in excellent condition and very good bodywork, except for a small scrape on the front bumper (see photo).
Maintenance highlights - FSH (mainly BMW and BMW specialist), last service Aug 2015 (insp II), new roof motor in Aug 2015 (now relocated to the boot), recent lollipop bushes, recent electric WP, thermostat and new header tank, and gearbox oil changed.
This really is a loved and cherished Z4, maintained regardless of cost and I really hope it finds a new home with a forum member.
I am based in Peterborough. Tel: 07887 955047.
Cheers, James

Hi All,
Tried to edit the advert to remove the image of the rear of the car, but it just re-posted as it was. I've just realised that this image is old and just taken to sell the old gimp wind deflector that I also had. Please note, this car has the 'proper' clip in wind deflector with the storage rails in the boot.
Cheers, James

Hi All,
Help please. Have reduced my stunning Z4 from £7,250 to £6,500 and still no joy. So, is this overpriced ? I've been told by independents that this is one of the best they have seen, it has all of the essential service related upgrades / repairs done and is low mileage with full history.
Any feedback welcome.
Cheers, James

It's a nice example but every car will find its price eventually. We are in peak convertible season so if it's not going now, with a good advert and pictures, it can only be price. Depending on your time scales, you just need to keep chipping away at the price until you start getting phone calls, viewings and ultimately an offer.jnwright71 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2017 10:09 pm Hi All,

Puzzling really, considering the mileage and the options list I thought your initial asking price was competitivejnwright71 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2017 10:09 pm Hi All,

Thanks Guys. I think I'll give it another week and if it doesn't sell, then keep it. It's far too nice to just give away and I have spent loads on it to make it really good, so I feel it is worth every penny.

Hi srhutch,
It was also on eBay for 3 weeks and will be re-listed tonight. Last time it had 24 watchers, 3 viewings that were then cancelled, one offer of a 3.2L TT in part ex and two offers that were over £2,500 less than the advertised price.
Maybe auto trader would be a better bet.

Pistonheads is a site well worth using, I've sold most of cars over the years through them, just £12 for a month and you tend to get less timewasters and more true enthusiasts contact you. Good luck looks a nice car.
