FS: 2010 BMW Z4 35i DCT £11,895 SOLD

Post by Rockford » Sun May 21, 2017 6:48 pm

Hi,

For sale is my 2010 BMW Z4 35i DCT.

This is the 3rd Z4 I have owned and it will be sorely missed, however, as I turn my attention to bikes for my kicks it makes
more sense to swap the Zed for a sensible car and a not so sensible motorbike. On with the details:

Baiscs
2010 '60' BMW Z4 35i DCT
First registered May 2010
I bought the vehicle on 6th May 2016 from a Sports/Prestige independent dealership
96k miles
Black sapphire metallic paint with Kansas black leather and brushed aluminium trim
2 keys
MOT until 11th November 2017
4 previous owners

Full service history:
22k - Elms BMW
36k - Elms BMW
38k (brake fluid) - Barons Farnborough BMW
61k - Barons Farnborough BMW
79k - Barons Farnborough BMW
89k - CK Auto's Christchurch (my trust independent mechanic)

Spec:
Professional Sat-nav with full iDrive and hard drive storage
19" V-Spoke 296 alloys
Heated electric mirrors
Heated electric seats and heated steering wheel with multi-function controls
Roof operation from key (hood down only)
Cruise control
Wind deflector
BMW Online and BMW assist enabled
Bluetooth and USB connectivity
Park Distance control (PDC)
Automatic lights and wipers
Dual zone climate control
Extended lighting package
Extended storage package
Smoker's package (non smoking car)

Work carried out in my ownership:
Continental Sports Contact 6 tires fitted August 2016 (225/35 front and 255/30 rears)
New rear brake pads and wear sensors fitted July 2016
New set of spark plugs fitted August 2016

The car is running a custom map by BMW Evolve Automotive (Very well known BMW tuner specializing in M cars) and was dyno'd at 360.1 BHP. The factory map can be returned to the car if required and I have full receipts and dyno print outs to back up the work carried out (I'd suggest you keep the map on, it cost £500 and transforms the car!).

Test drives on proof of fully comprehensive insurance only.
The car is currently on a cherished plate, this is not included in sale and will be removed from the vehicle shortly (an age related plate will be allocated to vehicle).
Mileage will increase slightly with use.
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset.
More photos available on request.
Forum price: £11,895

Think that price is spot on(and yes a lot of car for the money).

Ours (which goes trade in on Saturday) is 35i Black with red leather. Similiar spec on a 2010 with 38k. Buyany car quoted £13,800 and at trade in they offered £3,300 (though negotiated that up to £14k). Expect BMW will have ours up for £16.5 to £18k .

Thanks for the comments everyone.

I'll be putting the car up on Autotrader at the weekend (gave the forums a 1 week head-start in the hope it stays in the community!). I think the money is about right for this engine/spec/mileage combination and is priced to sell.

The car is now sold (buyer collected and paid asking price this evening).

My decision to buy a sensible car may be fading....Z4M or Porsche Cayman S on the cards!
