3.0Si Sport Roadster, Manual, FSH now sold
After 5 years of ownership I have decided to put my stunning and much loved 3.0 Si sport roadster finished in silver grey with red leather interior up for sale. Reason for selling is that I am now looking for something slightly newer as the car is my daily driver. The car is well known to both Scottish and northern forum members from the various meets I’ve attended over the years.
People who know me, know that I am not into modifying my zed in a big way. The mods I had finally opted for have taken time and patience to acquire, and to me the result I achieved has just about the right amount of magic dust applied. Ideally, I would have preferred to have sold my zed 'as is' to a forum member who would appreciate it. However, in the cold light of day the sums don't stack financially for me to include all the mods in with the car. So, I have returned the zed to stock and will be offering up for sale the remaining parts, which I will add to a separate thread later.
The car is presented with a full BMW service history and has been main dealer maintained. It is also currently covered by BMW Insured Warranty which I believe is transferrable should the new owner wish to continue the policy for peace of mind.
It was first registered on 19 July 2007 and has had 2 previous owners, with myself being owner number 3 for the last 5 years. Current mileage is 65290 miles, but as this is my daily driver the mileage will increase by a small amount daily.

18" Style 108 staggered alloys refurbed by dealer and only used for 10 months. Alloys have no curbing or scuffs and are fitted with Bridgestone run flats, 3 tyres have 5mm of thread approximately, one tyre worn on edge to approx 3mm.
The car has no dings or scratches, although as you would expect from a 10 year old car it does have a few marks commensurate with its age. Also a few stone chips, mainly on the front bumper and bonnet area, although front bumper was resprayed 13 months ago by main dealer to address stone chip issues. In addition, the front fog lights were replaced a couple of years ago and are still clear and free of condensation.
Car now reverted to its original plate YA07 ANF
Viewing and inspections are welcome. Vehicle is in the Edinburgh EH7 area
Feel free to contact me with any questions

Thanks Andy. However I'm not going to the dark side just yet so you don't get rid of me that easy . I have got my sights set on either a 2 year old E89 35is or an new M240 coupe.

Just seen this and it's a sad day though I know you've been considering a change for some time so good luck.
For anyone looking for a 3.0si this is the one to go for - known history, known and respected long term forum member and the Zed is recognised as one of the best cared for and presented examples on the forum. We always recommend that new members look out for Zeds for sale on the forum and this is one of the very best. Well priced and in this colour combination a superb looker - we know as we've all seen it on forum runs and meets. All credit to Nick - when I first met him some years ago I couldn't believe that his Zed was a daily it was so clean and he's kept it at that very high standard all the years I've known him - in fact I think he's improved it over the years! With the BMW service history and a warranty still kept on the Zed it's a wonderful example of what has been described as the sweet spot in the Zed range. I know as I've had the pleasure of si ownership as well
You'll also have the pleasure of dealing with a very honest and straight guy who is a gent - no worries there. This should fly Nick and whoever is lucky enough to buy it will be getting a heck of a great start in Zed ownership.
No need to wish you all the best with this sale

Thanks Paul, its an honest car that will stand up to any inspection. I am confident that once a potential buyer sees it in the flesh they will fall in love with it and will end up driving away with a permanent big grin on their face.paulgs1000 wrote: ↑Tue May 09, 2017 11:22 pm Just seen this and it's a sad day though I know you've been considering a change for some time so good luck.
