Hi. Few questions please. 1. Is there cruise control, 2. Do the wing mirrors fold in electronically and 3. on looking at earlier posts about the time you purchased the car I see you lived in Rayleigh. Is that still the case as I am in Pitsea. Thanks.

Hi

Yes it has cruise control, mirrors dont fold, I am not sure that any Alpina roadsters had that function but I may be wrong.

Hi Perry

I put a 12v cigarette lighter socket in place of the cup holder for my Sat nav so that there where no trailing cables across the dash as mine is a non lux model.
I still have the cup holder which will go with the car if the new owner wants to revert to original spec

As the E85 neared the end of its production run, BMW loaded the donor cars with additional kit, including electric folding wing mirrors - AFAIAA the only two RHD Roadster S' that benefited from this extra kit were #239 and #244

The width of the Alpina roadster is shown as 1780mm. Anyone know if that includes wing mirror to wing mirror or rear wing to rear wing which I guess would be (other than WM to WM) the widest parts. Thanks.

Sorry, I expressed that incorrectly, it wasn't the end of the E85 production run it was the last of the pre-facelift E85 production run donor cars that got this extra kit

1781 is dimension across front tyres outside to outside

That is f***ing gorgeous!!!

Imo better looking than any other z4 or z4c model out Thier. The little subtle add ons make these stand out. And that colour is imo... perfect.

One day I see these being expensive.
