Hi guys .
I think this is the right place to put this .
My car was in darren woods Bredbury for over a week
Having a new abs module fitted .
Got the car back and looked under bonnet and
There was brake fluid dripping down off the
Filler cap onto the refurbished abs module
They had done a brake fluid change and overfilled it .
I cleaned up all up and wiped the module clean
Etc then managed to get the brake reservoir
Down to the max line .
I will not be going there again .

And yet I hear other great reviews for them...

Did you speak to them about it?

I also had read good things about them that's why I took my car there . :)
To be fair I didn't say anything because I only
Found it a couple of days after , as I was just happy to have my car back .
Just didn't expect that kind of thing as it was
Dripping on the very thing that had just been refurbished.

Darren Woods have a great reputation..

A quick word in their ear would have been the best bet,but like you say its not good if your not happy.

Because of what I read on here is the only reason I went there .
There are other closer ones but darren had the best rep .
I didn't pay to have it fixed the place I bought the car from did
That said I was chatting to a member about a wheel issue I recently had and he mentioned if I put it on the here other forum members may be able to avoid having the same issues
Hence I put the two recent posts on here .
My first experience with both garages was
Not the best .
I also posted today about having a geo done on my car and had a great job done !
Credit where credit is due .

Last week i called them about a couple of lights coming on in the dash, with a view to bringing it in for a diagnostic.

The guy who answered seemed pretty stressed, explaining they were really stretched due to staff being on Holidays for the next 7 weeks, and asking me to call back again the next day but he couldnt promise anything...

I guess maybe they overbooked their work schedules so having to rush jobs?

Anyway, im taking the car to Hind Heath in Sandbach this week as John was very helpful on the phone and booked me in prompto.

Very much original spec apart from roof motor relocation and non run flats.
Not too mechanical savvy so just enjoying the experience.

That's interesting. I didn't know there was a specialist in Sandbach.

Worth knowing for when I need work doing on my car.
