passenger door wont unlock

Hi all

I hae been having an issue with the passenger side door not unlocking ok if its just me but very embarrassing if someone is with me and they have to climb in, i have noticed that going over a little bump and pressing the internal lock unlock button will sometimes unlock the door. Has this happened to other people and how do i fix the problem, all replies greatfully recieved . Thank you

Sounds rather like a bad electrical connection somewhere, most likely in the door. However, some have had issues with the actuator cable being worn. The frayed cable can get hung up and not operate until it is jostled on a bump. Most have had issues with the driver's side if any, but I don't think that makes it any less a possible explanation, just rather unusual.
