You're description is very limited for decent advice.
If the bulb is staring to change colour to pink or otherwise colour shift, it's at end of life, other components of igniter and ballast give other symptoms.
As for colour that's preference. Oem colour gives best light but up to 6k produce whiter light. Beyond that useful light reduces

You get what you pay for with eBay
Decide what level of whiteness you want, measured in degrees. I'd go for 4.5 / 5k, but personal choice
I'd also get a known brand or decent supplier, but would not pay BMW prices

Osram nightbreaker seems to be the go-to upgrade bulb? Around £35 each I believe. Also Philips Xtreme vision but they're more pricey.

Basically, they're expensive bulbs, but they should in reality last 10 years, whereas Xtreme vision halogens are £25-30 for a set but only last 12-18 months in my experience before one blows.

Always buy pairs as they will look odd and the second will likely fail soon anyway

H7 are halogen for flash to pass/main on prefacelift
You have Xenon

It's also worth doing the pair, I couldn't get mine to match when I changed just one side. I was having an OCD meltdown
