Just noticed my car sits slightly lower on the right than the left. Rim to arch is approx 20mm on the right (drivers) side and 30mm on the left. Front and rear the same. I'd be thinking broken spring if the left was lower... any thoughts?
now I'm about to have more time I've suddenly got less toys to play with!

Rear spring has to be the prime suspect. I discovered mine by accident recently when I was replacing the rear brakes set-up. They must be pretty fragile as this is the third set!

I'll take a look once the dreaded crimbo has been and gone. Anything nasty to look out for?

My 2007 Coupe sits slightly higher on the nearside than the off side. I recently changed all springs ( not because of this!) for Suplex and Bilstein B4 shocks and the difference is still there.
The car drives great- particularly after a proper alignment!

Just nipped into the garage while the missus was on the phone to her sister sorting something or other for the next few days.

Checked front and rear springs all fine, in fact they look like they've been changed fairly recently

Not a bronken spring then

Ps the boss thinks I've been wrapping her present, doesn't know I've not got her one yet!

Mine's slightly lower on the rear right as well. Probably set up originally for LHD. Previous one was the same, although less noticeable because it rode a bit higher.

I notice that the F10 M5 on my road is the same too, although I have no idea what he has in the boot (probably bundles of spare cash).

All good on the Z4 front then.

But maybe you need to do some last minute shopping - "the boss" may not be impressed with no present, and then you may be lopsided if her aim is good!

Hi Bluespit
I noticed this on my sport coupe too. Apparently 10 mm difference near side to offside is in spec on the rear.
The z4 was balanced for LHD, so driver's weight would balance it. RHD doesn't help with the fuel tank etc.

Mine is susceptible to gradient too, which makes it hard to find a level place to measure it.

If the springs are intact then all sounds well. The springs (OEM) have coloured dots. You could look if they're all matching to be sure, but if all springs are intact it sounds fine.
