Runflat Punisher repair

One garage has said you can't repair a puncher in a runflat another says you can. I'm sure someone on here can advertise me.

I'd take the opportunity to go to non runflats if funds allow. The difference is night and day.

Runflats can definitely be safely repaired if not too near the sidewall. I've seen some repaired far too close the shoulder though. To say that they can't be repaired under any circumstances is just plain wrong, if indeed that's what was said.

Runflat Punisher repair

I've got runflats on my e91, had 2 maybe 3 punctures in the past repaired no problems at all. As someone has already said, as long as it's not close to the sidewall, won't be a problem.

It all depends on where the puncture is and how far it was driven on when flat as the side wall gets damaged if driven far when its flat.

Something tells me that autocorrect/auto fill was involved somehow.

I keep looking to see how I can turn the damned stuff off in my iPad... haven't found it yet. :x

Just so I don't do a hijack on the thread: Don't fix a runflat, it's the perfect excuse to buy real tires and improve your life. 8)
